Pink is always a great idea. Playing and experimenting with different shades of pink are always fun and they actually do look really good together like my blush off shoulder top, pink tassel earrings and hot pink flats.

The top has a cute sweetheart neckline and it's available in 4 different colors, very affordable at $63. These neoprene flatsare super comfy and also available in 4 different colors. Bright colors are great for summer.

I got this book from Mr. SF's brother last Xmas. Since I'm in San Francisco now, I figured I might just make full use of it and explore more places with Mr. SF. Food is one of my favorite ways to really get to know this city.

This breathable knit tank is perfect for summer days. It can also be layered with a jacket for summer nights. I love the material and the slit on the side. In the front I can either tuck it in or not tuck it in, both ways look great. It also looks good with jeans, pants and skirts. It's an incredibly versatile piece to add to your summer wardrobe.

I'm sure you girls have seen that I've worn this pleated skirt a lot lately. Because it's super comfy and goes with so many different types of tops like my blush off shoulder top ($63) and white cut out shoulder top (on sale for only $15). The original posts are here and here.

These chic basics like my knit tank and pleated skirt are all from Everlane. They just added these cute striped tee dresses, striped tank dresses and these cute beach totes. My personal favorite is the red striped one. Wearing it alone or layering it with a denim jacket are all great ideas:P

If there is one kind of shirt I can't live without, it is the super flattering square shirt. The shape makes  everyone appear slender:P Easy to dress it up and dress it down casually. To dress it up, you can always wear it with heels. When you feel like dressing it up casually just wear it with sandals and cute accessories.

I've been looking for the perfect pair of cropped and flared jeans like this one, especially since I didn't want a big flare. Compared to the identical style here, the one I'm wearing is only one third of the price - a phenomenal price versus quality ratio. The jeans are soft and super comfy to wear and they are true to size. 

I have another pair (blog post here) in a different shade that's pretty cool too and it's currently on sale.

I wore this romper to a happy hour last week. You just can't go wrong with a cute floral romper during the summer. I'm normally a size XS, but I'm wearing this romper in size S. It's slightly bigger on me, but I actually like this oversized look. Do you know why? Having it be a little oversized gives it the ability to make you look slender.

You girls probably have noticed that I love the fit and flare shape because it's always flattering and balances out your proportion. This dress is also available in white. 

But today, I really want to share with you girls details about how to take advantage of the weak GBP (the British Pound). Have you girls ever purchased anything from a UK website? Right now is the best time to pull the trigger because the United States dollar has gotten so strong versus the GBP (put another way the British Pound has gotten very weak versus the United States dollar). 

Let me use the Givenchy mini Antigona as an example. If you get it here the original price is $1750. After tax it comes out to around $1905 (using a tax rate just shy of 9%). If you get it from this very popular UK retailer's website, MAKE SURE you change the currency to GBP and the shipping country to USA on the upper left corner (this will ensure that you get the lowest price). On the site the mini Antigona sells for 883 GBP, plus duty of 97 GBP, then after using USAFREE to get free shipping, your total price then comes out to 980 GBP.  Based on the current exchange rate of 1.32 (end of day June 27th), your new final price for the mini Antigona is only $1294!! You cannot get this low of a price in the U.S. That's over 30% off!! 

Besides regular priced items, Matches Fashion is having a summer sale where you can get a ton of great deals. For example, this cute Stella McCartney bag is only 307 GBP and after duty, it's 341 GBP, which makes it only $450. 

If you girls have anything on your wishlist, today is the time to take advantage of the exchange rate.  Because who knows what's gonna happen tomorrow or next week and how long these prices will last? Once websites run out of stock, they may increase the price of the bag when it's back in stock or not offer free shipping to the U.S. because the demand is so high.

BTW, I just bought the mini Antigona cause it's such a classic piece and goes well with everything. Can't wait to show you girls:P

The other day I had a conversation with one of my friends when we were talking about skin care. She said that she has been a loyal fan of La Mer, but their products are a bit pricy and she never finds La Mer on sale. These products are not cheap, but they are worth every penny. We bumped into one of Mr. SF’s friends on the street the other day and she was telling me that she basically wears no skirts or heels during the summer in SF. For anyone who has visited or lived in San Francisco during the summer you knows that SF is pretty cold relatively this time of the year. Also, you always have to walk up and down hills in the city. In all honesty, I’m definitely not use to this city yet. 

I was still mixing stripes and floral prints the other day. I think I still have to be my New York self for now, haha.

I had a few meetings the other day with companies that are located in financial district of San Francisco. These days are great opportunities for me to explore different restaurants and grab a drink from Boba Guys, haha.

Thank you girls for emailing me in regard to my post about how to get designer items on sale by taking advantage of the weak British Pound. I’m so glad that you girls love the post and were able to find items on your wishlist at great prices. First time wearing my Givenchy Antigona bag on my blog, and of course this is what I bought from this UK website. On a U.S. retailer’s website, it sells for $1750 plus tax, so it would be around $1900ish. I got this bag for less than $1300 inclusive of duties and tax just by changing the currency to GBP and keeping the shipping country as USA. If you missed my previous post, it’s a great opportunity to check out this UK website to get those items on your wishlist.

Nowadays, the life span of an IT bag is only about a year or even shorter. There are always new bags coming out, which makes me more willing to invest in classic pieces. The Givenchy Antigona is such a classic bag and the smooth leather and black color go with every single outfit. This kind of purchase will be able to last you a very very long time.
