As I was trying to figure out the title of today's post, on repeat was "Love Lane" from the Korean drama "Marriage, not Dating". Have you guys watched any of the series? haha. This cute song always makes me smile. I hope it makes you happy too:)

I love fall because it's really the perfect sweater and boots season. If I had a fall uniform, it'd be a white cable knit sweater with a grey mini and black booties. I can live in this outfit all season. Compared to the other grey mini skirt that I have, this one has less volume and is more casual, which works for both day and night.

If you follow me on Instgaram, you probably already saw that I showcased one look from the Limited collection inspired by the show, Scandal, starring Kerry Washington on Good Morning America. It's not a regular LBD and it's not a Christopher Kane, but the stylish textural multi-stripe panels remind me so much of this Christopher Kane dress. Once I saw how reasonably priced the dress was, I immediately realized that I needed it for a girls night out. I wore the dress with my new Ivy silver bracelet. The fringe and the snap closure totally caught my eye.

Happy Monday, loves! As I promised you guys today I’m sharing more info about the look I showcased on Good Morning America from the Limited. The collection is inspired by the show, Scandal, starring Kerry Washington.

Do you guys watch the TV show, Scandal? I love it and I totally want Olivia Pope's wardrobe. As a
network engineer, I work for a technology company that doesn't have a very strict dress code, but I love and enjoy dressing up for work. It definitely empowers me everyday and gives me that extra dose of confidence. This black and white outfit is so work chic. The whole collection was created by Kerry Washington, Costume designer Lyn Paolo and designer Elliot Staples. It was created to inspire even more possibilities for ladies who lead, women like us :) I styled the look a little differently from how I wore this outfit on GMA. What do you gals think?

It was such a great experience to work with so many amazing and talented people like Kerry Washington, Lyn Paolo and designer Elliot. Kerry is such a sweetheart. Seeing her out there on the set and chatting with her behind the scenes really motivated me to keep pursuing my dreams. Good morning, loves. I'm starting today with a pumpkin spice latte. It always makes me feel so happy since the holidays are right around the corner. The fall is boots season and I need all kinds of them like my over the knee boots, ankle booties and today's new midi boots for different occasions over the coming months. Midi boots can be fun and cool plus they are causal, comfy and go with so many different outfits. You can create a cool look by wearing them with jeans. But I wore the boots with a skirt and a cozy sweater for brunch last weekend because I was in the mood for a fun, cute and casual look that day. How cute are the sheer ruffles under the cropped sweater! Do you have a pair of midi boots yet?

Leopard in cobalt, the front slit and the front zipper pocket all caught my eye when I saw this beautiful, bold and edgy skirt. I knew immediately that it had to become my new skirt. I'm just so so so in love with it. There are a few key items here that I used to dress up the skirt and they are also must haves for fall.

Floppy Hat

It has the power to elevate your look instantly and it adds a twist to this retro look. I picked the most classic color black because it goes with everything. The hat also makes your hair look better, haha. Besides black, camel and grey are both cool colors depending on the outfit you’re wearing. But you can't go wrong with black.

I started wearing a pearl choker since the summer and yes pearl is still popular for the Fall. I saw bad gal Riri wearing these pearl studs. They are just perfect. They add so much femininity to your look and bring out a beautiful light on your face. These modern pearls are irresistible.

The beautiful autumn foliage colors inspired me to create a colorful look for the season. I wanted to explore more color options and also to challenge myself. I'm wearing these suede pumps that I'm madly in love with right now. After all these years, I still have a soft spot for pointy toe stilettos. They are the symbol of ultimate class and femininity. The camel blazer gives a luxe feel to the whole outfit and it always reminds me so much of autumn. Camel, this classic color, just blends well with so many other colors. The neon pink is like the pop of orange and red that brings out the autumn foliage that just makes the scene even more beautiful. I'm really happy with this camel and neon pink look and the fun colors always are a mood booster for me. What color combination have you girls tried to make your outfit more fun for fall?

I've been living in my floppy hat and pearl accessories ever since I recently bought them. (if you guys remember the post here). Today I want to show you girls a classic and versatile item that will help you transition from summer to fall, the denim jacket.

Every girl should have a denim jacket in their closet because it goes well with so many different items like dresses, skirts, jeans and pants etc. There are also so many ways to wear it such as wrapping it around your waist or layering it with another jacket or coat when the weather gets colder. There are different types of denim jackets: cropped, fitted or oversized. I personally prefer the oversized denim jacket. You can actually wear it well into the fall season and even during the winter if you layer with it. My preference is for this light washed denim color and I wore it with a shirt dress. Do you girls have a denim jacket and if so, what kind and how do you like to wear it?

Hello, my lovely gals! I'm so so so excited to say Happy National Handbag Day to you all :) Yes, it's today, haha. Who doesn't love bags? Sometimes perhaps a little too much…but today is the day that we take a break out of the day to celebrate it and pay tribute to our beloved handbags and those babes on our wish list. It is also a day to make a purchase of a new handbag without justification and explanation, haha. I love that and it really is time for me to purchase a mini bag in an eye catching color. Even, though, I don’t need any justification here are my reasons to pick up a new pop-colored mini bag, hehe.

－Most of the bags I own are "safe" colors like black and blue. Don't get me wrong, they are classic and I love black and blue. These babes are so easy to match with anything I wear. But I want to experiment and challenge myself to pair a bag in a poppy color with my outfits while still looking stylish.

－I have a disproportionate number of bigger bags vs. mini bags. I really need more cute mini bags for a quick coffee run or a night out.

－One of the biggest fall trends is color contrasting, like the Dior, Versace and Altuzarra 2014 fall runways. See the last photo in the post. How awesome are these color combinations?

－These mini bags are very affordable considering the quality.

It took forever for me to decide but I just bought one. Can you gals guess which one I bought? I can't wait to show you girls how I'll style this poppy color babe :) Do you girls own any mini bags in pop colors? :)

－我大多数的包包都是保守的颜色像蓝色和黑色。不要误会，我超爱黑色和蓝色因为他们如此的经典，而且百搭。但是我觉得是时间去体验和挑战自己去搭配亮色的包包，仍然保持时尚的感觉。

－我的大包多过小包，我真的很需要多点的可爱的小包，平常买买咖啡啊，晚上随便出么装点什么的。

－今天秋天最大的流行元素之一就是对比色，大家看最后一张图片里是Dior, Versace和Altuzarra今年秋天的T台展示的对比色。这些都表明了今年秋天就是流行亮色。这些颜色的对比也太好看了。

－上面列出来的小包包的性价比比较高，价格可以承受。

A lot of times you wait for items on your wish list to go on sale and of course the item is a popular or hot item, so often it'll sell out before a sale comes around or right away once a sale starts. Yes, it’s because Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time. Most people are aware of breast cancer, but many forget to take action to detect the disease in its early stages. The best way to fight breast cancer is to perform breast self-exams and schedule annual clinical breast exams. We all need to do our part to help raise awareness. I wore my new pretty pink mini bag and pink bracelet to help raise awareness via today’s post.

Not sure what you gals usually have for dinner on weekdays, but I imagine your schedules are packed just like Mr. SF and myself. He works long hours everyday and I juggle between my job, my blog and friends/family. If you are super busy as well, I think you would agree with what we look for in a weekday dinner.

-Having enough nutrition for our bodies while also having a healthy meal. We all work really hard and need to take good care of ourselves. Mr. SF and I have started to eat more veggy only dinners to stay healthy, but we know we can't eat that everyday, haha.

-Spending minimal time on grocery shopping and buying the right amount of food and spices. Of course weighing that with making sure the ingredients are still the utmost fresh is never easy.

-Wanting to try different things and delicious meals for dinner instead of repeating the same thing again and again.

-Having easy to understand recipes to make the entire cooking process simple and efficient.

Ever since we tried the Blue Apron meals, Mr. SF and I have had so much fun cooking together. Blue Apron delivers fresh ingredients in the right amounts directly to our apartment. It usually takes us around 30 minutes to cook each meal– sometimes less and sometimes a little more. One person mixes the ingredients and the other person cooks the entree. It's indeed a great and fun way to spend time with your family and loved ones. As you can see in the picture, Mr. SF was preparing the ingredients and I was cooking the meatballs. Each meal was $9.99 per person. We loved the turkey meatballs & linguine with fresh tomato sauce & pecorino cheese and also loved the togarashi-spiced tilapia with jade pearl rice. Every week Blue Apron has different menus, so we never need to worry about eating the same meal over and over.

不知道你们平常晚餐都吃些什么，是不是和我们一样忙。我男朋友每天都工作很长时间，我自己也是忙的要工作，写博客还要和朋友家人相处。如果你也很忙，那晚餐基本需要满足以下几点。

-营养充足而且很健康。工作已经很辛苦了，一定要好好照顾自己。我和我男朋友有时候晚餐会做素菜，但是毕竟不是每天都想吃素的。

-希望买菜可以不用花那么多时间而且买多了也浪费。食材要新鲜。

-每天可以吃不同的菜式，天天吃一样的好无聊。

-菜谱容易理解，让我们在家可以轻松的做晚餐。

Sweater weather, if there is one kind of sweater I can't live without it’d be the oversized turtleneck sweater. It’s a must have this fall.

-It's super stylish and chic and I'm so so passionate about it, haha. I prefer it in white or grey, but other colors pink, mustard and Burgundy are great too.

-It brings out that boyish casual vibe and cozy feeling that make me feel as if I can live in it everyday.

-I can think of numerous ways to style it, from day to night like these three different looks with track pants, a skirt and these thigh high boots. My favorite is the pencil skirt with slit look. I’m obsessed with this oversized turtleneck sweater with pencil skirt combo.

-It can still be layered with a shirt and coat when it gets colder in the winter. I'm sure you will see me wearing this later on as I use it to layer with other pieces :)

-It covers up your neck and keeps you warm in the fall.

-Anything oversized makes you appear skinnier, haha

-I love love love it.

A little over a week ago I was invited to a brunch hosted by Bergdorf Goodman and Chanel. I really couldn’t put on a maxi or something exaggerated because it was a day time event, but I had to wear something classy since it was a Chanel event. It took me sometime to figure out what I wanted to wear that day, but I couldn’t go wrong with a blazer. Besides the Chanel bag and the pin, my favorite part of the outfit was the bow tie. It’s much bigger than the bow tie for guys and it’s super cute. It’s so easy to wear it with almost any shirt. The bow tie is the finishing touch of the outfit like the icing on a cake. It turned an old outfit into a completely new one and made it classy and cute. I’ve been craving for this pair of sunnies for a while now since it looks really good on almost any face shape. The acetate and metal frames with the arrow on the side are simply cool and classic. So obsessed with it now.

一个星期多前的包包节我被邀请去参加一个有Bergdorf Goodman和香奈儿办的早餐活动。因为是白天的活动，不想穿的太夸张，为了符合香奈儿的形象，又必须是很经典的装扮。花了我一些时间最后才决定到底当天要穿什么。干练的西装是绝对不错的选择，除了香奈儿的配饰和包包之外，我自己最满意的是黑色的领结，这是我最近购入的一款，它比男生的领结要大，和衬衫非常好搭而且非常可爱了。真的是画龙点睛的感觉。配上之后果然是很符合香奈儿的精神。当天所穿的所有的东西都是旧的，除了领结和太阳眼睛。配饰可以让一套旧的穿过的衣服突然焕然一新，它的重要性真的是可见一斑。对了，这幅太阳眼镜我想要又段时间了，特别修脸型，什么脸型都可以带我觉得，中间的金属质感和旁边的小箭头绝对是Karen Walker家的经典。现在超爱这副。

The temperature in New York has indeed dropped a lot lately, so layering is a great idea for this kind of weather. You look more stylish and it's actually very practical when you transition from indoors to outdoors. I'm definitely not over the checker print and monochromatic look just yet. I layered the blazer with this cardigan coat. I also found a few other cardigan coats that are really cute and you girls can check them out below. Good evening from San Francisco, loves! The weather is gorgeous here and while San Francisco doesn’t have a traditional New England autumn, its Indian summer will do just fine. The classic autumn leaf is the key motif of the season. I always love something real special like these shimmering necklaces, elegant earrings, statement rings and bracelets from Pandora’s autumn collection. They are bright and feminine. They symbolize the beauty of autumn. I love wearing them with my baroque lace dress underneath the sweater with double layers. Lace indeed has the ability to add a more romantic feeling and enhance the beauty of these leaves. People say good shoes take you to good places. I feel that good jewelry creates good memories since you’ll have a reminder every time you wear the jewelry :)

Hello from San Francisco, loves. One of the most important things here for Mr. SF and myself is having the chance to catch up with some close friends and family. I wanted something sleek, sexy and sophisticated and I knew I couldn’t go wrong with this little black dress. I wore it out on Sat night. It was indeed a good time filled with good laughs with good company and my new favorite dress, haha. I love the luxurious fabric and it feels so nice when your skin touches it. The sexy cutout and the feminine silhouette made me fall in love with it. The weather has been beautiful, but as any Bay Area resident knows the temperature drops a bit at night, but with this cardigan I paired it with, you’ll be just fine. The floppy hat and cardigan are the key items that make your dresses still so wearable well into the fall. It's a great time to add a few dresses to your wardrobe right now before the holiday season. My advice is to try not to get caught having to decide what to wear last minute :)
