For some of you who have read my blog for some time know that Mr. SF is low key and a little more private. I have never shared any of his photos on my blog. But hey, I think now is the right time and right opportunity:P
While Mr. SF and I were in Asia, we took these Korean Style pre-wedding photos because I always wanted to try out the Korean makeup, hair and overall style. I thought it would also be a great opportunity for me to figure out what style of wedding gown I would want to wear on my big day, since I was having a hard time deciding between A-line and fit&flare.
I had a Korean makeup artist, a translator and an assistant helping me throughout this photo shoot. We ended up doing five different looks and took about 12 hours that day. My assistant brought me a delicious beef noodle soup for lunch and coffee throughout the day to fuel me up.
Korean makeup is normally light and makes your face look round and your whole complexion even sweeter. This is definitely not my style, but I'm happy to have experienced it all with Mr. SF. When Mr. SF first saw me after I did the Korean makeup, he couldn't even recognize me, haha. When it comes to skin care and makeup, Koreans are so far advanced vs. anywhere else in the whole world. Alright, let me share some of the looks with you guys.
Mr. SF in a blue suit holding the cutest camera and I'm wearing a retro and high neckline dress. This cute look pretty much sums up our relationship, haha. As you can imagine, most of my blog photos are taken by Mr. SF. Some of you that have asked about our camera, we are using this Canon camera and this lens.
I have to admit I love fit&flare a lot. The dress itself is not too heavy and also the beading details make the dress even prettier. I love the Ultra feminine silhouette. I didn't really like my up-do that much, so I won't do that on my wedding day. I know that the up-do is probably the most classy and elegant hair style, but I realized that I have to stay true to myself and feel the my best on the big day. If you are the bride, you should wear what you love because you know yourself the best!
Mr. SF got to try on a white tux here.
This dress is from Vera Wang.
This last dress is more A-line and has beautiful details.
After this photo shoot, I definitely know what I want and what I don't want for my hair style, makeup and most importantly wedding gown. During my last trip to Shanghai, I was able to find a make up artist that does the exact look I want, which looks very me. Now I just have to finalize my hair accessory details.
What do you guys think of our Korean style pre-wedding photos? Would you like to experience this in Asia, haha? What's your favorite style? A-line? Fit&Flare? Ball-gown?
One more month until our big day, I can't wait to show you girls my wedding gown that I finally decided on:P
