As a shoe lover, I have always believed that good shoes take me to good places. The weather is getting colder in New York City and the holiday season is fast approaching, so I’ve been looking for a pair of cold-weather boots for the upcoming winter.
My feet are normally cold and get even colder on those snowy days in New York City. Boots that are waterproof, can keep my feet warm, and are stylish are the most important items on the checklist for me.
You girls don’t know how excited and happy I was when I got this pair of Sorel Joan of Arctic snow boots from DSW. These snow boots actually have been on the top of my wish list. : P The faux-fur trim feels so soft and it adds a touch of glamour to the waterproof suede boots. The textured rubber shell keeps my feet dry. After I put on these boots, they keep my feet warm and cozy and are still so stylish—exactly what I’ve been looking for.
The Sorel Joan of Arctic snow boots go with many different types of pants, such as moto pants, leggings, and jeans. They’re casual and very easy to pair with so many different outfits. I would wear them hiking with a sweater and parka, hanging out with friends, or running errands in New York City. You can also wear thick socks with this pair of boots, which makes it even warmer. In the winter, warm feet are happy feet.
Besides this pair I’m wearing, DSW also has a variety of choices of cold-weather boots for everyone’s unique style and preference. I picked a few of my favorite snow boots, ankle booties, and OTK boots above for you girls, including the Unisa Gillean OTK boots, Vince Camuto Adelfi western bootie, and the Fergie Indigo printed western bootie. They are all stylish boots for the cold weather. Take a look—I’m sure you girls can find something you love.
Now I’m not afraid of winter in New York City anymore, and, in fact, I’m excited. : P What’s your favorite pair of cold-weather boots? : )
